Tickets for the lunch are $40 for members and $45 for non-members and can be purchased by sending an e-transfer or returning the form attached to the Spring Newsletter to Norah Isbister .

Our guest speaker this year is Léonicka Valcius. Léonicka is a Toronto-based book publishing professional who advocates for equity and inclusion in Canadian literature. She speaks at events all over North America in partnership with organizations such as BookNet Canada, the Magazine Association of BC, and the American Association of Writers & Writing Programs.

Léonicka is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Festival of Literary Diversity. She has worked at Scholastic Book Fairs as a book buyer and marketer and at Penguin Random House Canada as part of the Online and Digital Sales team. She is currently an Assistant Agent at Transatlantic Literary Agency and is slowly building her client list. In all areas, Léonicka seeks to support and amplify the brilliance of young women.
