TAAP is the official GTA alumnae panhellenic of the National Panhellenic Conference. Membership is open to any alumna of any of NPC's 26 member groups who is living in the Greater Toronto Area.
Toronto & Area Alumnae Panhellenic is a group of women dedicated to staying connected to Greek Life through sisterhood, activities, social events, philanthropic initiatives, and our annual Scholarship Luncheon.
The National Panhellenic Conference, one of the largest organizations advocating for women, is the umbrella group for 26 national and international sororities that are autonomous social organizations. NPC sororities are located on more than 670 campuses with 380,565 undergraduate members in 3,234 chapters. Alumnae are represented in 3,889 associations throughout the world.
There are many benefits to membership in an alumnae chapter including an introduction to a new community - an instant circle of new friends in a city you may not know very well. Alumnae chapters also provide opportunities for philanthropic and community activities, business and networking opportunities, and fun social events. Alumnae chapters volunteer with, and support individual Sorority/Fraternity alumnae chapters and collegiate panhellenics.
